What We Don't See in a Rainbow

I've obviously got rainbows on the mind. They are just such pretty colors! Anyway, so I got to thinking today, about how the visible spectrum is such a small part of the radiation that there is. I was thinking about how amazing it would be to see a rainbow with all of the colors not in the visible spectrum. But now that I think about it, maybe it is beautiful because it is that rare patch of color. It is the little piece that we have and so we can cherish it. Color is a beautiful thing.
